About Venekai

Venekai Consulting Services is a Liverpool-based consultancy specialising in workplace equity and anti-racism.

Its work sits alongside those responsible for governance, risk and accountability, particularly at a time when equalities practice is increasingly debated and, in some contexts, politically contested. Increasingly, anti-racism is moving beyond programmes or initiatives and into board-level responsibility.

Venekai is rarely brought in during a crisis. More often the conversation begins when leaders are considering how anti-racism should sit within existing arrangements and how responsibility can be maintained beyond individual roles or moments.

Engagements often begin by stepping back from day-to-day activity to examine how oversight operates. This includes how judgement is exercised, where senior ownership sits and how risk is understood at board and executive level. Taken together, these elements provide a fuller picture of where accountability ultimately rests.

Work takes place across NHS Trusts, local authorities, regulated services and private sector environments where leadership decisions carry visible and material consequence.
